Greg Noll & Bing Copeland

Two childhood friends who grew up down the street from one another surfing and board building in order to avoid getting “real jobs”. In time, mixed with plenty of hard work, each became responsible in their own right for bringing surfboard production and manufacturing to the world stage. Bing now in Idaho, and Greg, Crescent City both moved away from much of the hustle of what modern day surf culture has become. We reunited the two childhood friends, back in their hometown, where it all started, for an evening of good stories to help celebrate Bing Surfboards 60 years in business.
